If APLF is often described as the “heartbeat” of the leather industry in Asia, LINEAPELLE is widely regarded as the most important leather exhibition in the world, especially in the premium leather segment serving fashion, accessories, interiors, and luxury industries.

Held in Milan, LINEAPELLE is where Italian and European tanneries unveil their latest collections, showcasing the highest level of expertise in surface finishing, color development, and tactile experience.

General Information

  • February Edition Dates: February 11–13, 2026 (for Spring–Summer 2027)

  • Venue: Fiera Milano Rho

  • Scale: Hundreds of exhibitors presenting leather, components, textiles, synthetic materials, and design samples for fashion, bags, footwear, automotive, luxury goods, and interior applications

LINEAPELLE is held twice a year (February and September), in line with the fashion industry’s seasonal calendar.
The February 2026 edition will focus on shaping trends for Spring–Summer 2027, introducing entirely new color palettes and surface treatments.

Key Highlights of LINEAPELLE 2026

Trend Area – A Laboratory of Color and Materials

The Trend Area is curated by organizers and trend specialists, featuring selected leathers, materials, colors, and finishes that represent emerging global trends.
It is a primary source of inspiration for designers, brands, and material distributors developing future collections.

A Strong Emphasis on Italian Quality and Style

LINEAPELLE does more than showcase tanning techniques—it celebrates Italian style, defined by a refined balance between aesthetics, handfeel, durability, and material storytelling.

Collections on display include aniline, semi-aniline, nubuck, corrected grain, pigmented leather, and more—presented through a wide range of finishes, from matte and smooth to satin gloss and vintage effects.

Sustainability and Material Innovation

Like many leading leather events, LINEAPELLE places growing emphasis on low-impact leather solutions, safer chemical use, improved traceability, and extended material lifespan.
These aspects are particularly critical for brands targeting the EU market and high-end consumers.

Why LINEAPELLE Matters to Interior Leather Businesses

For companies supplying leather for interior applications, LINEAPELLE provides strategic value:

  • Color palette direction: Shades such as cream, mocha, cognac, earth tones, olive, and greenish-brown are often introduced at LINEAPELLE before influencing interiors, hospitality, resorts, and premium office spaces

  • Defining aesthetic DNA: Observing LINEAPELLE helps determine which design spirit an interior leather collection should follow—warm minimalism, quiet luxury, or a stronger emphasis on texture and contrast

  • Strengthening B2B storytelling: Referencing Milan-inspired trends when working with architects and developers elevates material conversations—from selling leather as a product to presenting it as part of a broader aesthetic and cultural narrative
