Behind the Spotlight – GreenMoss & the Art of Creation

The contemporary art exhibition “From the Victory of Bạch Đằng to the Great Victory of April 30, 1975”, held on Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street, became a remarkable cultural highlight commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. What is usually a vibrant urban promenade was transformed into an open-air museum, where monumental lacquer paintings and modern sculptures stood in dialogue with the constant flow of people—allowing art to step beyond gallery walls and exist directly within everyday life.

Behind the brightly lit artworks that attracted thousands of visitors and daily check-ins lies a quieter, often unseen journey. It is the image of artists, engineers, and skilled craftsmen working tirelessly under the midday sun—transporting massive panels, assembling frames, erecting columns, tightening every bolt, and patiently cleaning each surface so that colors could emerge at their fullest intensity. Every detail required precision and seamless coordination, for even the smallest misstep could compromise the integrity of the entire installation. It is these silent hands that transformed artistic vision into reality, enabling the public to experience large-scale works in the very heart of the city.

The collaboration between artist Lê Hữu Hiếu and the installation team formed a unique “dialogue.” While the artist infused each composition with emotion and historical narrative, the craftsmen contributed accuracy, structural integrity, and durability—ensuring the artworks could withstand the challenges of an outdoor public space. Art, therefore, was not only an act of inspiration, but also the result of collective labor, where creativity and technique moved in harmony.

GreenMoss – A partner in honoring art and culture

In this exhibition, GreenMoss was honored to serve as the Main Sponsor—a meaningful milestone in its journey of celebrating Vietnamese culture and contemporary art. For GreenMoss, leather is not merely a material for high-end interior projects; it is a medium that connects creativity, allowing art to transcend functional boundaries and become an emotionally rich living experience.

GreenMoss’s presence at the exhibition was more than sponsorship—it was a statement of purpose: to stand alongside contemporary art, nurture Vietnamese cultural identity, and build bridges that bring the public closer to artistic and cultural values.

Art made possible by unseen dedication

The exhibition on Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street stands as a powerful reminder that great works are not shaped by artistic talent alone, but also by the perseverance and craftsmanship of those working behind the spotlight. GreenMoss is proud to have contributed a small part to that journey—where art is no longer distant or exclusive, but present, accessible, and deeply human, touching hearts amid the rhythm of urban life.
